Abstract: This paper presents tables and graphs for the number of Catholic clergy and Mass Centres in England and Wales 1841-2001 and the total Catholic population 1901-2001 of England and Wales, based on figures published in the Catholic Drectory over this timespan. The figures are also normed against the total (all faiths) population of the province.
